can your kindle do this?*

Look what The Rejectionist** found inside the book she bought. What a neat way to share your love of a book. When I was in highschool I read “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and gave it to a friend who gave it to a friend and within a few months it had the DNA of half my graduating class on it. Ok, maybe that is an exaggeration, but there were kids stopping me in the hallway to tell me they read that book I had going around. I remember one girl saying “…and I don’t even like to read.” Guess she proved herself wrong.

Booklove letters to strangers. What a fabulous idea. I sort of feel like sneaking into a highschool to stick good books inside random lockers, or set them on lunch tables.

*I must admit, I have a kindle myself. I read a book on it this weekend. My first. It was ok. The thing is small enough to fit in my purse. It would be good for travelling. It’s not cozy like cuddling up with a real book though. I haven’t decided how I feel about it yet.

**Also, Rejectionist, I love you. Has a line formed for people who want to have your babies? If so, I’m going to go stand in it…
